To comply with Anti-Bribery regulations, firms must ensure that they have an Anti-Bribery policy in place and guidelines around what can or cannot be accepted/received and may set limits on what/how much a person can give or receive without this person having to gain further approval.
Firms may also set different limits for giving and receiving gifts/hospitality for different types of entity (for example Clients, Suppliers, Public Officials).
Therefore, if a person was looking to give or receive gifts/hospitality which exceeds these limits, they may need to request approval.
To automate this process, the Riliance Risk & Compliance system allows you to set giving and receiving limits for different entities in the Gift/Hospitality Register.
Note: Only users with Master User permissions can add in this information.
Navigate to the Account Settings from the Home Page.
Click Tasks Setup and then Gift/Hospitality.
Select + Add Gift/Hospitality Task Config to launch the set-up window.
You can create different limits dependent on which type of entity is giving or receiving the gift/hospitality; and can differentiate limits based on the Total Value or Cost per head.
You can also indicate whom the Acceptance Task Assignee is by selecting either a User or a Group.
Click Save.
The process can now be repeated until all entity type limits are set.
