From the Home Page, click Modules followed by Gift/Hospitality Register.
Select as to whether you are logging either a Gift or Hospitality, followed by whether you are Giving or Receiving it.
Note: The order in which you will be asked to record the Giver and Receiver details will depend on the selections you made above.
Next you will need to give the details of the Giver and Receiver.
Note: Your view may be different from the screen shots below as it will depend on the above options chosen.
To enter the details for an External Entity who is giving or receiving the gift, click + Add.
On the screen that then pops up, you can give the details of the External Entity, including the Type.
Once you have provided all the relevant details, click Accept to save them to the record.
If you need to add multiple people, repeat the process by clicking the +Add button again.
To add the details of those internally whom are involved in the Gift/Hospitality, you will be able to select from the list of Users, Offices, Practice Areas, Departments and Groups. To save scrolling through the list, you can use the search bar to search for the name you require.
Note: When a User selects a Group, this will determine who gets visibility of this record after saving. If the user is a member of the Group they are selecting they will continue to see this record on the list page after saving it. Additionally, any Group Leaders will automatically gain sight of any records entered for their Group. Please see Set up the Gift/Hospitality Module for further guidance.
Give the details of the gift/hospitality, including the Number of People, Cost Per Head, a Description, Estimated Value and the Type of Gift/Hospitality.
Once all the relevant details have been logged, click Save.
Depending on how the thresholds/limits have been set up for your business in the Account Settings, your record will either be automatically approved or will be pending review from the relevant members of your business, for more information see Create Limits for approving Gift/Hospitality.
