The Complaints Module in the Risk & Compliance System allows the firm to assign the task of acknowledging the complaint to either an enabled User or a Group.
For a guide on how to log a complaint record, please refer to Log a Complaint.
Upon saving a Complaint Record the system will open a pop-up window for Schedule Workflow: Complaint Record.
If you wish to resolve the complaint at this point, simply click Resolve Complaint.
To create the Acknowledgement Task, click Create Task and Assign.
From the drop-down menu select the User or Group that you wish to assign the task to.
NOTE: The Due Date will pre-populate as per your module settings. This is preset in the Account Settings in line with SRA guidelines, however, it can be altered if necessary.
Once these details have been selected click Save.
The User or Group who was assigned the task will receive a notification and be able to access the task from their Task List.
