The Risk & Compliance system allows for a task to be set to Discharge or Review an Undertaking, and assigned to a User in the system.
For further information on Logging an Undertaking, please refer to article Log an Undertaking.
Upon logging an Undertaking, a pop-up window will appear called Schedule Task: Discharge Undertaking.
Select the User who will be assigned the task of Discharging the Undertaking from the drop-down list.
Choose whether the Discharge Date is known. Choosing ‘No’ here will bring up the option to select the ‘Discharge Review Date’ rather than ‘Discharge Date’ (This can be useful when dealing with long term undertakings where discharge dates may be confirmed at a later date).
Choose the Discharge Date/Discharge Review Date.
If applicable, choose an additional User or Group that will be notified of this task via email.
Click Schedule Task
Note: If you want to record an undertaking which has already been discharged, rather than create a future task, you can choose to Cancel Task & Discharge Now. This would cancel the Discharge Undertaking Task, and take you straight to Discharging the Undertaking.
