The Breach Reporting module allows for SRA and ICO outcomes to be tagged to the record, further evidencing which areas of the Code of Conduct, Accounts Rules, and/or ICO Principles have been breached.
Having this information evidenced on the record allows the outcomes to be reported on. This data will help identify which outcomes are breached most frequently and can help establish how to mitigate these types of breaches.
To tag the outcomes, navigate to the Breach Reporting module using the Modules drop-down on the System Home Page.
From the Module Home Page, navigate to the record by using the Search field or Additional Filters.
Note: You can search by record information such as reference number and who identified the breach.
Once the record has been located, click View to enter the record.
From the record summary page, scroll down to Regulations Breached. You will see two tabs in this section, one for SRA and one for ICO. The SRA tab will allow you to tag the Code of Conduct and Accounts Rules outcomes, and the ICO tab will allow you to tag the Principles.
Once you’ve selected the relevant tab, click Manage Regulations.
A pop-up window will appear allowing the outcomes to be searched for and tagged.
Note: This function doesn’t require the User to know specific outcomes that need to be tagged.
The Regulations Breached function includes a smart search feature to search key words associated with the breach.
Select the Section you wish to search from the drop-down menu.
If you know the Chapter you can also select this to search, if not you can use a key word to search for the outcome you require.
From the list of associated outcomes, select the most appropriate and click +Add to tag it to the record.
Clear the search bar and repeat this process until all relevant key words have been searched and tagged for both the SRA and ICO outcomes as appropriate.
