The Risk & Compliance system allows firms to create approval limits for the Cost Per Head or Total Value of any records entered into the Gift & Hospitality Register.
When the value of a Gift or Hospitality exceeds the approved limit set by the firm, a task is generated for a specified User (or Group) to review the details and make a decision whether to approve or reject this.
Once the record has been created in the Gifts/Hospitality Register, an approval task is created for all the module supervisors. The Supervisor can enter the record through the Task List.
To open the Approval Task, click View.
The window Review Task: Hospitality/Gift register review will open for you to review the details.
There are now two options when selecting Yes or No to ‘Has enough information been provided for you to make a decision’
From the Decision drop-down menu, select Accepted or Rejected.
In the free text field enter the reason for your decision
Click Submit Decision to complete the task
Enter the details of the information required in the free text field
Select the User from whom the information is being requested from the list
Select the date the information is due by
Click Request More Information to create a new task for the User selected.
A task will be generated for the approving assignee to review the further details provided.
Use the free-text box to provide requested information and Click Submit.
