You can configure your Complaint Tasks using the Complaint Tasks Setup menu in the Account Settings.
To access your Complaints Tasks Setup, navigate to Account Settings from the system Home Page.
Note: Only users with Master User permissions can access the Account Settings.
Click Tasks Setup followed by Complaint.
Below is a list of the available settings and an explanation.
Setting | Function |
Allow Complaint Task to be Assigned to | Allows you to specify to whom these tasks can be assigned to e.g. All Module Users, or perhaps only Users whom are a member of a certain group e.g. Complaints Team. |
Allow the task to be skipped | Allows you to specify whom can skip assigning the Acknowledgement Task. |
Allow this task to be skipped for a Custom Task | Allows you to specify whom can skip assigning the Acknowledgement Task but create a Custom Task in it's place. |
Default complaint Acknowledgement handler | Assigning a Default Acknowledgement handler here will mean that User will automatically populate as the Task Assignee when creating a Complaint Acknowledgement Task. |
Default Complaints task assignee can be changed by | Where a default task assignee has been selected, this setting allows you to specify whom can change/override this assignee when creating the task. |
Default complaint Acknowledgement within | Specify the default time within which the Acknowledgement task needs to be completed within. |
Allow the default complaint acknowledgement due date to be overridden by | Where a default complaint acknowledgement time has been selected, this setting allows you to specify whom can change/override this when creating the task. |
Default complaint investigation handler | Assigning a Default investigation handler here will mean that User will automatically populate as the Task Assignee when creating a Complaint Investigation Task. |
Allow the default complaint investigation handler to be overridden by | Where a default task assignee has been selected, this setting allows you to specify whom can change/override this assignee when creating the task. |
Default complaint investigation due date | Specify the default time within which the Complaint Investigation task needs to be completed within. |
Allow the default complaint investigation due date to be skipped by | Where a default complaint investigation time has been selected, this setting allows you to specify whom can change/override this when creating the task. |
Default users to notify | If you would like to notify by default any specific users of tasks created you can add their name here to ensure they receive notifications. |
