The Risk & Compliance system allows for records across various Modules to be linked together in order to create a comprehensive overview of risks that a firm faces, and the controls put in place to alleviate the impact they could potentially have on the business.
Records can be linked across the various modules. Below details what type of records can be linked by module :

In the example below, we will link a Risk Record with a Controls Record.
From the Risk Register Home page, locate the record to be linked and click Edit to access it.
Scroll down to the Linked Records section. Select the type of record to be linked from the available choices. Click Manage Record Links.
On the following screen there is a list of the available Control records that can be linked.
(NOTE: The records visible here will depend on the Permission Levels that are set, so may appear differently to each User based on this. For further information, please refer to article Permissions Set-up).
To link an existing Control to the Risk record, click +Link. You are also able to create a new record to link by clicking +Create New Record.
The records will now be linked together, and the link is visible in the Linked Records section.
Click Save to retain the changes made.
Unlink Records
To remove a link between records, locate the relevant record and click Edit.
Click -Unlink to remove the linked record.
Click Save to retain the changes made.
