As well as having access to the standard reports available with all modules the Gift/Hospitality Register also contains two reports specifically designed for the module and provide more detail than the standard report.
To access these two reports, click Reporting, followed by Gift/Hospitality Register.
You will then find a Gift/Hospitality Giving/Receiving Report section.
As with other reporting sections, you are provided with a set of filters you can use to define your reporting scope, including Reporting Period, Office and Group.
Once you have set the relevant filters, click the downward facing arrow next to Download as XLSX to open the download options.
The report available by clicking Download will display all relevant Gift/Hospitality (as defined by the filters you have set) with each record being displayed once, with all entities listed on each record being displayed in a merged cells format.
This ensures all data is displayed with no duplication.
By clicking Download from the drop down, you will be able to view the main details for each Gift/Hospitality record, including its entities listed together.
The main details of the gift/hospitality will be displayed in merged cells with each of its entities listed in singular rows alongside. This ensures all data is displayed in one single line, with no duplication. This report is not suitable for filtering by column headers due to its merged cells.
This allows for greater freedom when filtering using the entity data, such as for analysing gift/hospitality spend or frequency in relation to entity type.
However, you will need to bear in mind that the record data (e.g. reference, gift value, estimated value etc) will be duplicated where there are multiple entities on the same record.
